Quilted coating has a layer of wadding and stabiliser sandwiched in between two layers of ripstop type fabric and it has been quilted together in a wavey pattern. On the right side it is covered in a patchwork print featuring different flowers, and on the reverse it is plain black. This fabric would make a quick jacket or waistcoat as you wouldn't need to line your project. It would be ideal for sewing yourself a sleeveless jacket such as the I AM Hathor or a jacket such as the Hovea by Megan Nielsen.
